Carol Dodson, C.R.N.P., is an adult geriatric nurse practitioner at Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. As a medical provider, she enjoys helping her patients through a partnership that includes support and management, which allows her patients to better participate in their own level of care. She believes this often leads to a stronger foundation, as well as an increased potential of success. N.P. Dodson's career began in critical care, where she spent more than 17 years. In 2017, she transferred into primary care as a nurse practitioner working specifically in the community with assisted living and rehabilitation centers. It is here where her fondness for working with geriatrics grew. When she's not caring for patients, N.P. Dodson enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her husband and two sons.
